We Decided to Go Tiny
Hi, my name is Valerie and my husband is Mitchell. We have decided to start living tiny!
Working a typical 40hr week to save up money to put towards our debts just doesn't seem appealing anymore. Our house for instance, we just bought our first house about a year ago and its great don't get me wrong, but it needs ALOT of work. So, with that said, we have been saving money to put back into the house to make it pretty, but we don't have time for anything else really and that's no fun. So we decided, instead of breaking our backs to pay for all the "stuff" we thought we wanted, we are going to take a leap and completely change our lifestyle. We are going to get rid of all our stuff, sell the house, and we're going to figure out what route we want to take with the whole off grid/tiny living.
There is definitely a lot to consider with tiny living. We've been looking into where we want to primarily live. We know we want to go to Colorado, we're just not sure where in CO (both of us are from Connecticut so big change). That is why we are taking a road trip out there next month! I can't wait. I've been a couple times and it's beautiful, so I'm really excited to see more of the state and all it has to offer. Until we head out that way we will be doing research, lots and lots of research!
